We’re Lana and Danny, the couple behind Upcycled Treasures Co. Before starting our business, we both built successful careers in the corporate world, with backgrounds in business development, sales, and team management. But alongside our professional lives, we always shared a passion for DIY and home projects.

It all started when Lana showed Danny some upcycling videos she’d seen on social media. We realised we both had the same dream: to turn our love for creativity into something more. Despite Danny having recently been made redundant and life with a newborn on the way, we decided to take a leap of faith — picking up our first pieces of furniture locally and bringing Upcycled Treasures Co. to life.

Since then, Lana has made the bold move to leave her corporate career behind and run the business full-time, with Danny working alongside her evenings and weekends. With four children between us, we know how important flexibility is for our family — and building Upcycled Treasures Co. is our way of creating a future that gives us more time with the people who matter most, while restoring beautiful pieces that can be loved again.
