A Month of Milestones at Upcycled Treasures Co
The past few weeks have been a whirlwind in the most wonderful way.
After opening our workshop doors for the very first time, we have now welcomed our first group Sip & Upcycle session and our first 1:1 Masterclass — and seeing people learn, create, and fall in love with the upcycling process has been nothing short of incredible.
But what has meant the most to us hasn’t just been seeing people paint and sand and chat around the workshop table…
It’s been the stories attached to the pieces they brought with them.
The reasons these items mattered.
The conversations that unfolded while working on them.
And the feedback we received genuinely moved us.
“Twelve out of ten, highly recommend.” — Emma
Emma joined our Sip & Upcycle with a desk built by a much-loved family member, which has now been passed down to her after her father’s death.
Her words say everything:
"I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience with Lana at Upcycled Treasures Co… Lana was so considerate and sensitive to the nature of what we were working on… I'm already digging through the heirlooms to find something else as an excuse to book Lana again. Twelve out of ten, highly recommend."
It reminded us why we do what we do.
Upcycling is never just about paint.
It’s about memory, meaning, and giving old things new life.
“Hands-on, confidence-building, and beautifully thought out.” — Jan
Our 1:1 Masterclass with Jan was another special moment — slow, hands-on, practical learning.
“Anyone wanting to have a go at upcycling should look out for further workshops and take advantage of the knowledge and experience Lana has and is more than willing to pass on.”
We don’t rush.
We guide, explain, and make sure every person leaves feeling confident to continue at home.
That’s the heart of our workshops.
And Then… Something Unexpected Happened
We were contacted by a well-known paint brand who have been following our journey online — and they sent us our very first PR package to try in the workshop.
This is a huge milestone for our little family business.
It means:
Our work is being seen
Our content is resonating
And our community is genuinely growing
And that is entirely because of you.
Every share, like, comment, message, and kind word has helped us reach this moment.
Thank you for believing in us — especially at the beginning.
